It feels like the past week has been another really busy week! Firstly, what is going on with the weather?! I'm so over Winter at the moment and I really can't wait for a little bit of spring sunshine. I even bought myself some daffodils to inject a little bit of spring cheer and to remind myself that there is such a thing as sunshine.
I also had Guy stay with me for a few more days and we spent most of it mooching around Manchester and doing typically coupley stuff. We went to see the Wolf of Wall Street at the cinema which of course was yet another good Leonardo film but it was seriously long ( we're talking 2 and a half hours !!) and towards the end I was struggling to sit still. We also made a trip to Almost Famous Burgers for some ahhhhh-mazing... you guessed it! Burgers. If you ever get chance you really must try their Bacon Bacon fries- Skin on fries with bacon mayo, topped with bacon bits mmmm. I also had the best peanut and caramel milkshake which has inspired me to create my own home made version, and the recipe for that might be making an appearance on the blog at some point this next week, wink ;).
I also got a little bit girly at the end of the week and went for my nails doing. I did promise that this year I was going to take better care of my hands and nails but I'm not sure covering them in shellac counts? I do love the colour though. It was really nice to step away from my super dark berry reds that I've been sporting all Winter and go for something a little more my-nails-but-better. I'm not sure how long I can go without my beloved reds though....

I know how you feel, winter feels like it's been going on forever. Bring on summer!
