When someone says ' Models own' to me it conjures up images of beautiful, bright polishes, sparkly glitter and nail art pens and up until last week I was blissfully unaware that they had anything other than pretty polishes to offer. However I was introudcued to their lovely Lip Stix, a crayon style product that is one of their latest offerings.
The Stix come in 8 different shades varying from pale pinks , to dark browny reds and there really is a shade to suit everyone. My personal favourites are the pinky colours as I don't feel brave enough to try and pull off Very Berry (the darkest shade on the far right). I plan on saving this for winter and wearing it with lots of gloss for a 'vampy' look. On the lips they feel gorgeously soft, smooth and moisturisng and they fade away to leave a nice stain.
I also love the crayon design of these. Lip crayons seem to be popping up everywhere and I can't get enough at the moment. They are super easy to use and I find them a lot easier to get a precise line with than a regular lipstick. I also love that you can just keep winding them up and that there is no need to sharpen.
In the above swatch picture I had to go over each swatch two or three times to get a nice bold colour as they do apply fairly sheerly at first. As with most moisturising lip products the staying power isn't amazing but as they're so easy to apply it really isn't a big deal to do the occasional top up.
Have you tried models own lip stix?
They can be purchased from Boots for just £5 each

They look so vibrant in the swatches, other lip crayons I've seen always look a bit dull to me. The second one in from the left would be my fave.

I haven't tried these lip stix but I have tried the Revlon Just Bitten stains and I have one by Tarte which is amazing :)
