Bumble and Bumble thickening spray review

I don't often buy magazines, but I was recently browsing the magazine racks whilst waiting for my train and I saw this little lovely glued to the front of ELLE. Of course, unable to say no to such a brilliant freebie I picked up a copy and couldn't wait to use it!

My hair is a little on the flat side so when I read that this product was supposed to 'help fine hair achieve styling lift-off' it sounded like the perfect product for me. However I've nearly used up the bottle and I can't say I've been particularly blown away by it. I mainly spritz it through my root area and a little through the ends when my hair is still damp and then finish off by blow drying it. I wouldn't say that I noticed my hair felt any more volumised or thicker after use which is a little disappointing as I had previously read so many rave reviews. However it did feel a little less 'soft' than my hair usually does when it is freshly washed which I liked as it felt like my hair has a little big of grip and texture. I also found that it was pretty undetectable in my hair which is good, I personally hate it when my hair feels all producty and is sticky to touch.
Don't get me wrong, this is a perfectly nice product and I have enjoyed using it, I just wouldn't repurchase it.
Have you used this? What did you think?

  6. Such a shame. I bought their sea salt spray and hated it! I don't think it's suited to my straight hair. :(

  7. I feel the same way as by the looks of it everyone else who has commented, its sticky, it feels awful in my hair, considering its a bumble and bumble product i really thought it was going to bed good, i dont think they shouldve done the free samples with Elle as i dont think they will have many people going out to buy it anytime soon!
