Bourjois BB Bronzing Cream

Hi everyone,
I thought today I would talk about one of Bourjois' latest offerings -their bronzing BB cream. When I first received this in the post I was a little taken aback at how dark it looks in the tube yet it is described as a 'universal shade'. I am usually quite wary when choosing shades of bronzer as I have very fair skin and in a store I would probably walk straight past the product purely for its dark appearance in the tube.

Anyway, here's what Bourjois have to say:

  8. Refreshing sensation.It has a light easy to blend formula and an addictive chocolate scent.'

Initially I quite liked the idea of a bronzing product with skincare benefits as well. On my first try I applied it with my fingers as I would any other BB cream. However this product doesn't blend very well which made it difficult to get an even application and I was left with some fairly dark orange patches- not a good look! I also didn't think it did anything in the way of boosting radiance or evening out my skin tone but it did leave it feeling lovely and soft . The next day I persevered  and used it just where I would apply my usual bronzing product and it did appear a little more wearable.I think the key to this product is to use it very sparingly.
My favourite thing is the gorgeous scent, it smells like vanilla and is to die for. I think I will be saving this product for summer and maybe try again mixing it with some foundation when I have a tan as I seem too pale at the moment to make it work for me

    It does look very dark in the bottle, I think I would struggle with it with my skintone. Maybe after a spray tan! Thanks for checking out my blog. I'm now following your's x
