pillow talk

Would you believe until  a few months a go I had never bought a topshop lipstick?! I never really gave Topshop makeup a second thought as I usually buy all my products from makeup counters whilst I'm in boots or Selfridges. I always think of Topshop for gorgeous clothes , not makeup and just assumed a high street store trying to do a makeup range would be a little bit rubbish. But after reading so many rave reviews I decided this must change and invested in their pillow talk lipstick.

I decided on Pillow talk because it looked such an easy to wear pale pink in the tube and I fell in love with the colour so much so that it has become my go to lipstick for everything - nights out, uni, lazy days. It is lovely and creamy and really pigmented, one swipe is enough for a full coloured lip. I personally love the moisturising texture especially as it is starting to get super wintery and there really is nothing worse than dry lips! The packaging is also surprisingly sturdy. I was so dubious about paying £8 for a lipstick from a clothing store but I'm so glad I did, definitely recommend this and next time I'm in Topshop I'll be buying some more shades.

  4. I have hazard and confessions and love them both! They are so long lasting. Only thing I dislike about them is that the stripey design rubs off so easily. Pillow talk looks gorgeous xo

  12. This was a great review - the moisturising texture sounds like just my cup of tea! I don't usually wear lipsticks because my lips are so dry. I've never tried Topshop lipsticks, but I'll check out the range of shades next time I'm in :) the Topshop nail polishes are lovely, as is the pen eyeliner :) xx
