Melvita Bouquet Floral cleansers

Removing my make up is probably my most favourite beauty routine and if there's one thing I love it's cleansers.
Obviously with certain brands boasting their products can last on your face for 24 hours I think it's really important that you're willing to put in a bit of effort to remove make up as they are clearly have some staying power. This means a good cleanser is a must and my current favourites to get the job done are a couple from Melvita's Bouquet Floral range.
I've been a fan of Melvita for a while now and this is yet another impressive offering of theirs. Rose water and orange blossom are combined to gently remove traces of make up and impurities whilst moisturising the skin and maintaining its natural balance. Sounds good right?
I love the feeling of a fresh, clean face, and there's nothing I love more than snuggling up in bed with fresh sheets with lovely clean skin, bliss. I always start my cleansing routine with L'oreal's micellar water. I've used Bioderma in the past but I personally find L'oreal's offering really good too, plus it's so cheap and easily accessible.
Once my trusty micellar water has removed the bulk of my make up I use Mevita's Floral Bouquet Cleansing Milk *. The formula is lovely and creamy and I massage it in to dry skin and rinse away with some warm water. I sometimes use it in conjunction with a warm muslin cloth if I feel like my skin could do with a little bit of exfoliation and TLC. Thanks to the Narcissus extract and the moisturising properties of rose water, my skin is left feeling bright and clean and all traces of the days make up are gone. It leaves skin feeling really healthy and soft plus it doesn't strip it or leave it feeling tight. I naturally have quite sensitive skin and I've found this to be really gentle and it hasn't irritated me at all. Almost 99% of the ingredients in this cleanser are from natural products and I really feel since I've started to try use skin care with natural ingredients my skin has been a lot better and less sensitive.
I've also been using the Cleansing Jelly * from the same range in the morning to help remove the previous nights skin care and to freshen up. I find gel cleansers are a little lighter and feel a bit fresher so are nicer to use in the morning and this one is perfect. Just like it's cream counterpart this is another really great cleanser that leaves skin feeling super clean and comfortable.
If I was going to criticise these two I'd say the scent doesn't really do it for me. I've never been a fan of floral scented products, but after a couple of months use this has grown on me and I've stopped noticing it.
Have you tried any Melvita procudts recently? The micellar water from the same range is the next on my 'to try' list!

  2. You are the go to girl for skin care. I haven't heard of this brand before, but you've really sold it to me. I like the fact that the ingredients are 99% natural.
