Winter Lipsticks

As soon as October hits all my pale pink and coral shades are cast aside in favour of something a little bit darker.

Revlon colour stay Ultimate Suede in Backstage
Designed to last for 16 hours this is a great everyday lipstick and a gorgeous deep blue based red. it does have a tiny hint of sparkle which isn't my cup of tea but once on the lips its barely detectable. I also love how this colour can be built up for a really intense shade or just give one quick swipe for a more subtle look.

Mac Rebel
I think every blogger ever has one of these in their lipstick arsenal, and who can blame them? Rebel is one of my all time favourite shades and I wear it all your round. It's the most gorgeous Plum/ fuchsia shade and is opaque in one swipe however the more you build up the colour the less fuchsia  it appears .Admittedly it's not one for the faint hearted but it looks great in winter with a pale complexion.

Rimmel Kate Moss in 107
Another blogger favourite and it's easy to see why. 107 is a lovely deep berry red with a nice (not overly) matte finish plus it has a nice scent ( it reminds me of palma violets?). I personally find a lip liner is essential with this one as it can stain when applying so a liner makes it a bit easier to get a precise line.  For £5 it's impossible not to love it.

What are your favourite winter lispticks?

  9. I love the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick range, I have a couple of shades from her range. But would also like to try Revlon colorstay lipsticks and own a couple more MAC lipsticks too.
