Save the Blow Dry!

Did you know the average girl spends 2 hours a week blow drying her hair?! That's quite some time.
I used to be guilty of spending far longer than that blow drying and shaping my locks but on a mission to be kinder to my hair I've cut down and now only wash it alternate days. I haven't, however, cut down on showering, that would be gross but this has presented me with a new challenge - Keeping my hair dry.
Until a few weeks back I would scrape my second day hair in to something that resembled a bun / birds nest, and jump in the shower hoping that I could manage to keep it water free and looking acceptable. Alas, having super curly hair this never quite went to plan and my lovely blow dry would be ruined.Boo- hoo . You're probably wondering why I never use a shower cap? I'm unfortunately cursed with a head that's big enough for two people and your average shower cap gives me one of those terrible rings around my forehead and makes me look quite silly. Plus I always find that I can't quite fit all my hair in and the stragglers still get wet and frizzy.
Fortunately I'm not alone in my suffering and some like minded lovelies have actually come up with a solution in the form of the Save the Blow dry shower cap
How does it fair compared to other shower caps? Save the Blow dry is quite possibly the best shower cap ever, it does exactly what it says on the tin and I love how shamelessly girly and fun the design is. It has a a water proof outside with a sneaky micro towel inside to help zap humidity and help abolish poofing. Plus there's enough room for all my hair so it doesn't get squashed and it easily all fits inside to keep dry. It's also quite roomy and once I've finished showering there isn't a dreaded elastic ridge in my fore head. My hair both looks and feels completely untouched which isn't an easy task considering it frizzes and kinks at the tiniest hint of moisture. It can also be flipped inside out and used whilst you're using your favourite hair mask too. Even Marmaduke is a fan

Save the Blow Dry is available from their website for £14.95
And every Save the Blow Dry sold through the website directly funds a fortnight's safe drinking water for a family in the desert region of Khandel, one of the most impoverished areas in the world.
So if you're stuck for a little stocking filler look no further

  1. Wow, what an inventive product! I don't use shower caps for the same reason, and because they don't have any fun patterned ones - but this one looks brilliant!
