I think it's safe to say every blogger and their dog are a fan of these two bad boys and quite rightly so. Having not treat myself to a nice face mask for a while ( student budget, boo) I decided I'd repurchase a couple of old favourites and here they are.
Clear Improvements
Unfortunately I'm not one of those people blessed with perfect skin, in fact it can be down right awful at times but hey ho. Perfect for those 'my skin feels yuck' days ( I find these days are becoming a lot more frequent living in a city!) this charcoal mask is brilliant for decongesting pores and helping to freshen up your skin. With all sorts of spot busting ingredients such as White clay to absorb environmental pollutants and Lecithin to dissolve impurities it does a great job of leaving your skin feeling clearer and definitely a whole lot fresher. I personally like to use this when I can feel a bad skin day coming on in the hope of lessening it slightly and maybe avoiding it all together! I pop a blob all over my face ( after I've opened up those pesky pores with a warm flannel), concentrating mainly on my T-zone and leave it to dry for about 15 minutes and then gently buff it off with a muslin cloth and some warm water.
Afterwards I'm always amazed at how fresh and baby soft my skin feels. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't suddenly morph me in to a poreless, flawless wonder but it does go a long way to making my skin feel less grimy. Priced at £22 for 100 ml it isn't exactly cheap but if you're looking for something that does exactly what it says on the tin then I definitely recommend giving this a whirl.
Drink up Overnight intense mask
This is another one of origins most famous offerings and a hero product for many of you out there. Although designed for dryer complexions I find this works just fine on my combination skin. I really like that you can leave this on over night and your skin will literally 'drink' it up and I often use it as a follow up to Clear Improvements when I feel like my skin needs a little extra TLC. I put a nice thick layer on, leave it to sink in slightly then jump in to bed and leave it to work it's moisturising magic.
When I wake up the next morning I'm left with lovely soft, plump skin that's not at all greasy just beautifully hydrated and ready to face the day!
These really make a perfect pair - the clay mask is wonderful for a deep cleanse and the Drink Up solution is without a doubt one of the best beauty products EVER! Xx

Your skin sounds almost identical to mine! I've not tried any masks from Origins yet, but both of these are now firmly on my wishlist! xx

Ohh I like the sound of the drink up over night mask. I have combo skin too so maybe this would work for me.
