If there's one thing I love more than skin care it's miniature skin care. I'm a complete sucker for a starter set and miniature versions are definitely the way forward when it comes to trying new products. Nourish is a brand I'm new to but anything that promises to provide a little TLC for sensitive skin and I'm all over it. Adorably packaged and perfect for traveling; I knew this little Relax mini kit * would be accompanying me on various trips as soon as it arrived on my doorstep.
Majority of this set has been reserved for evening use ( I like to keep my morning skin care pretty basic) but I loved the lightness of the Softening Cleanser and instead of using it to remove heavy make up on an evening I've been using it to freshen up in a morning. For a cleanser the texture it quite watery but I've found this makes it the perfect addition to my morning shower and it leaves my skin feeling really refreshed and baby soft. Being 97% organic it's managed to cleanse away all my heavier products from the night before without being too harsh.
Admittedly I was most excited about the Soothing Toning Mist. It's no secret that I love a good toner and this has been making a great alternative to Clarins' Gentle Exfoliating offering. A few spritzs of this on to a freshly cleansed face has helped soothe my holiday skin and keep everything hydrated and comfortable. I'm not usually a massive lavender fan but I actually really like the smell of this and it smells so relaxing.
The Hydrating Peptide serum is also lovely. I always try work a serum in to my evening routine and being super light and liquidy this has been melting in to my skin but hasn't been causing an extra oiliness in the warmer weather. It sinks in incredibly quickly and feels so cooling after a day in the sun. For the last few weeks I've been following this up with the Calming Moisturiser. This is actually quite solid and feels pretty luxurious once applied so again I've been saving this for a night time. Being rich in Omega Oils and balancing ingredients this has really helped to soothe my sensitive skin and keep everything moisturised and in check. A day or two in to my holiday I developed quite a nasty dry patch on my chin and this managed to have to back to normal by morning. Impressive, huh?
This is a great little kit and if you're after something that's perfect for traveling and will have all your bases covered then look no further. What are your favourite products to travel with?
I am intrigued with the name to begin with! Sounds really promising! :-)
