Eucerin facial SPF

Eucerin mattifying SPF 50 review

Whenever I go on holiday I'm always one to whack on the sun protection. I have memories of family holidays in Greece as a child and my mum holding me down and applying yet another layer of factor 50. At the time I hated being caked in thick gloopy cream but fast forward a few years and after suffering some pretty nasty sun burn I vowed to never be caught sans protection again.

SPF is something I try and include in my skin care routine all year round , be it in my every day moisturiser or foundation but on holiday when I tend to go bare faced ( everything just melts off me, er ) I make sure I pack something a little more heavy duty. This year I opted for Eucerin's mattifying sun fluid with a pretty hefty SPF 50 and boy was it a good choice.

The texture is incredibly light and thin and it literally melts in to the skin  without leaving a greasy residue or skin feeling tacky. I also found it's mattifying claims to be true and it definitely kept any oilyness away for a good few hours, which for those of us who are prone to an oily t-zone is an absolute god send. Despite some pretty intense holiday heat my face remained as pasty as always without even the slightest bit of sunburn. And the best part? It didn't make me break out either!

  1. This sounds like some of the more typical Asian sunscreens! I absolutely love mattifying ones, with uber high SPF, yet super lightweight texture! This one sounds amazing :)
