If there's one thing I'm forever lusting after it's a model worthy glow. Unfortunately for me, I seem to have inherited the dullest skin known to man and it seems no matter how many vitamin capsules I choke down, or kale smoothies I guzzle my skin remains a little lacklustre.

Over the years highlighter has become my best friend and I always have my eyes peeled for the latest thing that promises to pep up my skin. A recent perusal of the clarins counter saw me leave with a few repurchases plus one of their newer offerings - the Instant Light Radiance BoostingComplexion Base. Mouthful or what?

Complicated name aside, this little tube of glow giving goodness has quickly become a firm favourite in my make up routine. It's designed to even out skin tone, mask flaws and hydrate, all whilst brightening. I have the shade rose which is the pink 'universal shade' and instead of tinting the skin it imparts a nice pearlescent hue. One pump is enough to cover my whole face ( a little goes a long way) and if you're a fan of cream highlighters you'll really love this. It's incredibly light and melts in to the skin and despite being hydrating it doesn't make my oily t-zone any worse. I also love it's pore smoothing capabilities. It helps smooth everything out and also does a pretty good job at covering up the redness around my nose. As a primer this is great but it's but it's brightening capabilities are amazing and mixing a little in with your foundation gives even more of a glow.
