Handy Stuff

 photo handystuff_zps49e3b1ee.jpg

It's incredibly rare that I make a New Year's resolution and stick to it. Usually, by the time I've sobered up the next morning I've completely forgotten what life altering changes I declared I was going to make the night before. This year,  however, I kept it simple and simply chose to take care of my hands more, and to not skimp on my evening skin care routine.

One of the first things I purchased for my hands was a tiny manicure set from Boots. This nifty little set has all the necessities for keeping your nails in tip top condition and it's the perfect size for throwing in a handbag or weekend bag. Having all my nail tools in one convenient place has made looking after my nails so much quicker and easier. I'm actually starting to enjoy it....

I've also been making more of an effort to moisturise as I get really dry hands in Winter and it means that a good moisturiser is a must. My current hand cream of choice is Origins Make a Difference hand treatment and I must say, this stuff is ahhh-mazing. It's incredibly moisturising yet non-greasy, and it sinks in in seconds. I've been carrying a tube of this everywhere I go lately and it's proved to be the perfect hand saviour.

I'm also quite partial to a little nail polish every now and then and Boots Salon Nail Shine Solution  ( mouthful!) has really been helping prolong the look of my paint job and keeping it looking seriously shiny. It can also be applied to bare nails to help them look really glossy and healthy if you don't fancy reaching for your favourite polish.
