Since micellar waters first hit the scene I've been completely obsessed. I've used so many from different brands ranging from Bioderma, Avene, and most recently L'oreal. Clearly being my preferred way to remove my make up I was pleasantly surprised to see a bottle of this sitting on the shelf in my local Boots .

One of my main gripes with my L'oreal water is that I go through it like there's no tomorrow and I'd like it to come in a larger size, maybe half a litre or something. The new Garnier version is twice the size of  L'oreal's yet the retail for the exact same price. The bottle claims that 400ml should provide 200 uses which of course would mean amazing value for money but I doubt anyone could make it last so long.

So far I've found this to be an amazing make up remover. It quickly melts away make up and I find it stings my eyes less than the L'oreal one. I hadn't realised that it made my eyes sting slightly, it's just a barely there uncomfortable feeling but there's none of that with Garnier's version. It actually does a pretty good job of tackling heavy eye make up too, but I do like to give my eyes a quick swipe with a Bi-phase eye make up remover just to make sure nothing is left over. Two or three cotton pads soaked in this are all you need to leave skin feeling clean, fresh, comfortable and hydrated.

I also think this one is a little more user friendly than L'oreal's. It can easily be squirted on to a cotton pad and it's easy to control how much you use. I know a lot of people complain that L'oreal's spills out and they end up wasting product which is annoying.

Another great budget skin care item! It's so good in fact I've already bought another bottle!

    1. oh is it? it's quite hard to find in England but I know a few stores in London stock it. Tha'ts why I've been choosing the L'oreal one- purely because it's so cheap and available everywhere. You'll have to let me know how you get on with it :) x
