Hi everyone!
Hope youre all having a lovely monday and had a great weekend!I didnt really do anything too extraordinary with mine, I just went out for drinks with friends, dinner with the other half and to the comedy store which was really fun. I also finally bought a pair of the much raved about joni jeans and so far im loving them ( they do a great job of hiding my muffin top haha).
But before I bore you all to death with my ramblings I'll start on this.
I bought this cleanser on a bit of a mad dash in to Boots. My avene cleansing water had just run out and I was in need of a new cleanser asap plus I was already late to meet a friend so I ran in, looked what was on offer, saw the word sensitive and thought 'this will do'.
Later that night when it came to removing my make up I saw that the bottle actually said for 'dry or sensitive skin' which actually had me a bit worried as I was concerned it would be stupidly greasy and leave my skin feeling oily.
The cleasner contains key vitamins - A, C and E which are all antioxidants as well as evening primrose oil and allantoin which are smoothing and moisturisng. I found this actually did a great job of removing my makeup. It is quite a thick, creamy cleanser and so I rub it in to my skin and then wipe it away with a cotton pad and it removes all traces of make up and even my stubborn mascara ( They're real I'm looking at you!) plus it doesn't make my eyes sting! Afterwards it does leave my skin feeling a little greasy so I do rinse my face.
I probably wouldn't purchase this again however as it doesn't leave me with that so-fresh-ive-just-taken-my-makeup-off feeling that I love before bed.
Have you tried any sk:n products? What are your favourite cleansers?

I agree with you, I tried this and thought it was okay but it just doesn't leave my skin feeling quite 'clean' enough!

Bummer for it leaving your face a little greasy.
ReplyDeleteIt would be perfect if you could just wipe it all over your face and end it with a cotton pad!
never tried this brand before I am currently using the body shop tee treat cleanser in the mornings and the new lorea'l brightening scrub at night!works pretty well for me :)

I've not tried any Sk:n products before, it's a shame this one wasn't a favourite for you! I'm trying to use up my Botanics cleanser at the moment as I want to try something new. xo
ReplyDeleteHeyyy! I am sorry this product did not work out however a cleansing balm is what I recommend next time you go out to buy a cleanser. Something that you can massage into your face and rub of with a flannel and water.
ReplyDeleteThe best type of cleanser you can buy for your skin is a cleansing balm. These are seriously the kindest type of cleanser for your skin. Massaging the balm into your skin rids the face completely of impurities and in the long run is much healthier for your skin.
I hope this was helpful. New follower alert. I look forward to future posts! If you fancy a read feel free to check out my blog! xx
