Nip and Fab CC cream review

I was so excited when this little package popped through my letter box a couple of months back. I never really got on with BB creams, don't get me wrong, I tried some lovely products but none of them really wowed me and thanks to my less than perfect skin a good foundation was still m favourite. However when Nip + Fab promised CC creams were the next generation of BB's I was instantly intrigued.

Nip and Fab describe it as 'complexion corrector with SPF 30 sun protection + medium coverage. Soline® provides 24 hour moisturisation whilst the appearance of skin is toned + smoothed with oat extract.Light diffusing pigments illuminate for a radiant + flawless looking complexion'.
I really enjoyed the gel like texture of this product, it was lightweight and really easy to blend although I had to work quickly. Although light weight it has enough coverage to hide slight redness and reduce the look of blemishes and give the appearence of a more even complexion. With the help of the Hyaluronic acid it left my skin feeling moistursied and bright all day.
My one criticism of this would be the colouring. I found the shade 'light' to be slightly too dark and a little on the pink side for my pale complexion

  1. This looks like a great product shame about the colouring - I always find that bb creams don't give enough coverage so maybe cc cream is the answer.

Thanks for your comment hope you can follow me !!!

    1. Really frustrating isn't it! This only comes in dark and light as well so if you don't fit either category you're a bit stuck xx

  3. I've always liked the idea of bb and cc creams, but it's true that they're always too dark and 99% of them will never suit me! It's such a shame that brands can't take into account all us casper look-a-likes! x

    1. Hard work being pale isn't it! Even when things are 'light' they're sometimes not light enough xx

  5. I'm pale too and have the same problems with most BB/CC creams. I waste so much money on them, hoping one would suit my skin tone well. :(
I love that you put apple pie and tea are all you need...that pretty much sums me up as well. lol.
Love your layout, too! You now have a new follower. :)

    1. That was the main problem I had with it, it wasn't a great match for my skin unless I'd fake tanned a bit xx

  11. What an insightful post! I've never heard of CC cream to be honest but it seems to be really good! I like how it highlights your skin! The BB cream I use at the moment does that but, not so much. I actually really love your blog! Your photos are lovely! Would love it if we followed eachother? :) I've followed you! x
