Review : Philosophy the great mystery mask

Hi everyone! Today I thought I would share my thoughts on Philosophy's great mystery face mask. I'm not sure whether it's stress, the weather or poor diet ( too many easter eggs ooops!) but I'm currently suffering from terrible skin and felt my poor face was in desperate need of some TLC. I've recently been trying out a few new products and as this one claims to provide the effects of a facial in just one minute it seemed like a great place to start.

The great mystery is a lavender scented, paste like product which I thought looked a tad similar to vaseline and unlike any other 'mask' I have used before. 

To use you simply massage the product on clean skin until it turns white and leave on for 60 seconds. It tingles the skin slightly and I would have expected it to have a gritty texture as it contains sea salt for exfoliation but it is actually very smooth. Once washed off it leaves skin feeling lovely and refreshed and is gentle enough to use as often as you like. I love the convenience of this product as it only takes a minute and have been using it in the shower alternate mornings and have noticed a real difference in my skin
