things I'm loving this week...

It's such a rainy miserable day and I after watching as much day time tv as I could possibly take (can't wait to get back to uni & have productive days again!!!) I thought I'd write a little post about a of my current favourite items!

 

Revlon Colour Burst Lipbutter in Strawberry Shortcake

I bought this in Boots for about £7 last week and I think I've worn it every single day since I love it that much. I know these lipbutters have been raved and raved about but I'm going to have my own little rave anyway. This stuff gives the most gorgeous sheer pinky colour. It's super moisturising and feels just like a lip balm, which I love however it isn't that long lasting and I find that I tend to eat it off really quick.

Definitely going to repurchase the other shades!

                                              

 Soap and Glory exfoliating gloves £4

I don't know about anyone else but I find that if I'm in the shower and using a body scrub it all gets rinsed away before I get chance to have a good scrub with it so when I saw these cute little gloves I thought I'd give them a try. The instructions say to wet them and use your favourite shower gel and away you go. They exfoliate brilliantly ( soap and glory never lets me down!) and they make my lovely strawberry original source shower gel all lathery and feel really luxurious. Definitely recommend these!

                               

Bumble and Bumble styling lotion £6.50

I absolutely love this stuff!! Which annoys me a little because it's quite expensive and I hoped it would be something I could live without

I'm not 100% sure exactly what this product is meant to do... so here's Bumble's own description

'A versatile styling option for control, body building or sleekness, plus a nourishing moisturizer which leaves the hair soft with natural movement'

I guess it does exactly what it says in the description ; my hair feels soft and shiny without being sticky and weighed down and it definitely feels healthier after I've spritzed this on

Is it a hair necessity?

Studded shoes £60

It was bank holiday Monday, I'd just finished work and the weather was miserable but as I was walking past Aldo I spied these babies all sparkly and shiny in the window just screaming ' BUY MEEEE!' so I did. Shoes are something I cannot resist, no matter how hard I try.

I've been wanting some studded shoes for a while now ( they are are everywhere after all) and these were probably the nicest pair I've seen so far ( also when I tried them on the 6 was a perfect fit, I'd say that's fate right?) 

 

Paperchase diary and note book ( £7.50, £5.50)

After my shoe purchase I decided it was best to make a quick trip to the car before I bought anything else I couldn't afford but as per usual paperchase distracted me and I ended up convincing myself that it was a good idea to buy a diary and a note pad. In fact I was proud of myself for being so practical ha! Anyway...

I'm back at uni in the next few weeks so I thought a diary would definitely come in handy for writing down deadlines, when I'm in work etc and it's cute. At the start of every school year I always promise myself I'm going to get super organised, not miss deadlines, attend all lectures so hopefully this little diary will transform me in to the most studious of students.or not

I also thought this little mushroom book was a must have! It has little file dividers ( just enough to divide all m units :) how convenient) it's also the perfect size to be carried in a hand bag. winner

                                                       

Clipper Blackcurrant and Acai Berry tea

This one is a bit random but...

Today I just sat and read my book and listened to the thunder storm and rain outside and I had a cup of this tea.I'd forgotten how much I love this stuff, if fruity tea is your thing definitely try these!
