First off, I am a hugeeeee Benefit fan! Several of their products make it in to my everyday makeup bag and their packaging is just so cute.
I've just finished my second tube of this mascara. I got my first one for Christmas and at first I wasn't that keen. I don't usually like hard plastic brushes and I'm more of a brown/black kinda girl than just plain black plus, costing £18.50 ( and me using a ridiculous amount of mascara, booo you stubby eyelashes) I didn't think I'd ever like it enough to want to spend that amount of money myself. But I gave it a whirl, persevered and we fell in love.
So, there you have the packaging, typically cute Benefit packaging. It also comes with a little step by step guide that explains how to use the brush which I really liked.
As i said before the wand is plasticy which isn't something I would usually go for ( I think they make my lashes look spikey if you know what I mean...) However this wand is not so bad. It has a rounded bobble on the end that is supposed to lengthen your eyelashes. I don't really feel like it separates my eyelashes much so I use a wand I pinched from an old no7 mascara to separate them.
And the results....
.. here are my eyelashes with no mascara at all. As you can see they are unfortunately barely there!
And taaaaadaa! here they are with a coat of They're real - much longer and darker.
Overall this is my must have mascara and I'm yet to find one that beats it. The only downsides are cost ( £18.50 waaa :(!! ) and that it is nearly impossible to remove - I can shower with this stuff and it doesn't seem to budge!
