When it comes to my travel make up bag I like to keep things nice and simple and the fewer products the better. I'm not a fan of troweling on the slap when it's humid and I prefer to sport a something a tad more natural.
When I'm traveling abroad I like to keep my base to an absolute minimum and Laura Mercier's Oil Free Tinted moisturiser is a holiday favourite of mine. It's super light and sinks in to the skin and provides just enough coverage to disguise any redness and even things out. It's also pretty good at staying put and doesn't melt away in warmer weather. If I feel like I need a little more oomph in the evening a blob of Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base does the trick. It works to even out skin tone and add a gorgeous lit from within glow.
As far as holiday eye make up goes it's pretty non existent during the day. But I do like to make a little effort in the evening so I always make sure I pack L'oreals Telescopic false lash mascara. I've lost count of the amount of times I've repurchased this and as far as mascara goes I think this might be the one. It lengthens, curls and divides all in one go and being water proof it really stays put and won't budge in the heat. I also never travel without my Naked 2 pallet. When it comes to eyeshadow I'm really unadventurous and if it's not nude I won't touch it. For traveling this has me completely covered and I have enough nudes for every occasion.
Despite trying to only pack the essentials I can't skimp on the ol' brows. Without some from of powder , pencil or filling in my face just looks like it has something missing ( well it's my eyebrows obviously) thanks to my lack of natural browage. My current go to brow product of choice is the Anastasia Dip Brow pomade. Incredibly pigmented and fool proof to apply it actually makes me look like I have something resembling eyebrows plus it stays perfect right until it's time to remove my face before bed. Winner.
I once famously packed 8 different lipsticks for a 7 night holiday so this year I've cut down considerably. The L'oreal Rouge Caresse range is a real favourite of mine and the super light glossy formula is always a winner. Admittedly it won't be the longest lasting lipstick you've ever worn but it's so weightless and easy to apply that it's impossible not to love it.
What are you favourite things to pack for you holiday?

I have to try L'oreal Telescopic mascara, I keep getting recommendations for that one! xx
