Clarifying shampoo is somewhat of a necessity in my hair care routine, which comes as no surprise when you consider just how much gunk I slather it in on a daily basis. My go to shampoo for the task used to be Pantene's Pro-V Clarifying shampoo but after it disappeared off the shelves of Boots and Super Drug over night I had to turn to Vo5's Gunk Go to get the job done.
Recently, I've been using DGJ Organics Hairjuice clarifying shampoo and let me tell you, this stuff is good. Designed to rid your hair of excess product build up and banish lank locks this little bottle does exactly what it says on the tin. One tiny blob ( the lather on this is amazing for an SLS free product) is enough to leave hair feeling squeaky clean but not stripped and it helps add a touch of fresh hair bounce. The matching conditioner is also lovely. I'd never considered using, or knew such a thing existed but it makes a nice alternative to my other heavier conditioners.
After a good scrub with these two my hair feels back to it's usual shiny, gunk free self. Plus the gorgeous citrus scent doesn't hurt either.
I really want to try a clarifying shampoo! I never have, but I probably should as I use quite a bit of product :) This one looks so good! Amazing that it's clean but doesn't strip your hair :) x
