If there's one thing I really dislike it's grubby make up brushes - especially foundation brushes. Not only is it kinder to skin to keep them cleaner ( less bacteria ) but I also find that my products apply tons better when my brushes have been subjected to a good scrubbing.
That being said, I don't always have time to give them a really good deep clean in the sink but being a lover of clean brushes that's where No7's brush cleanser comes in. It's easy peasy to use and simply needs to be popped on to the bristles and then swirl the brush around on to some kitchen roll. It removes any product build up in a jiffy and it actually dries really quickly. Whilst it won't clean your brushes as thoroughly as if you properly washed them, it does an amazing job of freshening up brushes in between washes. Plus it's a great busy girl's quick fix for when you know your brushes could do with a clean but you only have a few minutes to do so.
At £8.50 it isn't as cheap as others ( Johnson's baby soap seems a popular choice ), but I know Boots are currently handing out their famous No7 coupons, and using one of those would make it a much more purse friendly £5.50. Bargain.
I'm looking for a good brush cleaner so you've pointed me in the right direction :) I use the MAC one at the moment which I like but looking to try something different!

The mac one always seems so popular! Definitely need to get round to giving it a try :) xx
DeleteThis looks amazing. I never consider using No.7 but I am always in need of a great and simple brush cleaner. I currently use Johnsons but it's always a chore of cleaning them all and drying them. I definitely need something like this which is quick and easy! Lovely post! :)

That's where I'm keeping mine too! So convenient for a quick refresh!xx
DeleteI really want to try this - by the way some stores class this as 'skincare' so you might be able to get £5 off! x

DeleteI have been looking for a new brush cleaner as I only Baby Shampoo on mine. This one seems great value as I don't want to splash out on buying a MAC one, great review.

I'd love to try the mac one but the price always puts me off haha, such a cheap skate!xx
DeleteI recently purchased Dr. Bronner's soap and can't wait to see how that works for cleaning my brushes. If it doesn't I'll be sure to look for this.

This is my go to weekly freshen up for my brushes. Sometimes when I'm using the same products and/or don't have the time to clean them but really need to this is great to use in between.
