The Body Shop - Sandalwood and Ginger room fragrance

Firstly, I'll apologise for my absence during the last couple of weeks. I've been kept busy with deadline after deadline ( thanks uni!), a visit from Guy and lots of trailing back and forth to Manchester. Couple this with working in between and I just haven't had time for my poor little blog.  When I finally do get a day off  what happens? I've only gone and developed the worst cold ever ever. I'm not usually one to get ill but boy am I feeling it this time; I currently have a nose to rival Rudolph and I've spent the last few days attached to a box of tissues. Gross

If it wasn't already obvious enough, I'm feeling seriously sorry for myself and so as a special treat I've called a duvet day. I bought some new bedding a couple of weeks back so I'll be road testing that for the first time ( fresh sheets never fail to cheer me up!). I've also dug out all my cushions and pillows for extra comfiness and given everything a quick spritz with my current favourite room fragrance. I actually purchased this a while back as  an alternative to scented candles. Don't get me wrong, I love a good candle but a room fragrance seemed a little more convenient (it won't burn the house down if I leave it unattended), plus the body shop had one of their generous 40% off promotions running so it would be silly to turn down such a bargain,no? Like most linen sprays the scent doesn't linger that long but when you can smell it it's the most lovely scent. It smells really warm and comforting without being overpowering and the spicy ginger kick is really lovely and is a great addition to the sandalwood. I'm a huge fan of anything ginger scented so this was always going to be a winner in my book, plus despite it's gingerynes it doesn't actually smell too festive which I'm quite happy about. I currently have my eye on the Green Tea and Lemon scent too, I can just imagine how fresh that one smells!

So POA for today? I plan to spend the whole day tucked up in bed hiding from the world, drinking several litres of hot chocolate and catching up on all the TV I've missed recently. Bliss
