If there's one thing I'm a total sucker for it's beautiful packaging and this lippie tops them all. The YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks have been on my radar for a while now thanks to their luxurious packaging and a couple of weeks back I finally convinced myself that it's okay to drop £24.50 on a lipstick, eeek! It actually took me a little while to get round to wearing this, and for the first few days I'd pop it out of the box just to take a peak and admire it, then pop it back. Please say I'm not the only person that hates taking the plunge and using new products, especially when they're this pretty?!
Packaging aside, the formula is just as lovely. Opaque in one swipe this is quite possibly the nicest lipstick to wear... ever. It feels so lovely and creamy and isn't drying, plus the fruity scent is to die for. The colour is also beautiful. Peach Passion is, as the name suggests, a lovely pinky peach that makes the perfect every day bright lip colour that looks great with a Summery tan. I also love that whilst it has a nice sheen to it, it's not overly glossy which means that although it's bright it isn't too over the top.
The only downside is the longevity. Being so creamy it doesn't last all that long but then again who minds reapplying when you get to pop this out of your make up bag?!
Ugh, SUCH a gorgeous shade, and stunning packaging. A bit iffy on the longevity but I really want to own one if only for the packaging haha!

I have this lipstick and it is just beautiful. The longer you wear it the more pinky it becomes and leave a lovely stain!
