As much as I love trying new products there are a selct few gems that I find myself going back to.
Finding a Holy Grail foundation seems to have turned in to a life long quest for me. It's rare I find myself repurchasing a base and I always find myself looking for something that's a 'slightly better match' or ' has a more natural finish but still covers flawlessly' etc, etc. However, No7's Superlight Foundation has come the closest in a long time to ticking all my foundation boxes . It's stupidly light yet covers everything you'd need it to, it blends like a dream and it lasts all day, even on my famously oily t-zone. The shade range is pretty impressive too and although it's not earned Holy Grail status just yet it definitely warranted a repurchase.
When it comes to eyelashes my poor eyes are seriously lacking. My lashes are sparse, short, and almost blonde so they need all the help they can get. That's where L'oreals waterproof Telescopic Mascara steps in. This is seriously the mascara of Gods. I've lost count of the amount of times I've repurchased this but I find it has the best staying power of any mascara I've tried, plus is defines, darkens, lengthens and gives a slight curl all in one sweep. What more could you ask for?
I declared my love for Pixi Glow tonic on here last Summer. After Caroline Hirons hailed it a P50 dupe the blogging world went subsequently went crazy for it and I couldn't resist getting my hands on a couple of bottles. Needless to say I was impressed from the get go, but when they ran out I just couldn't be bothered to ring and order another bottle and turned my attention elsewhere. Fast forward a year and I found myself in London for a few days. Of course a trip to Carnaby street had to happen and whilst there I picked up another bottle. I'm not 100% sure why my beloved glow tonic seems to have gotten a tan but it still seems to be working wonders for my skin. A quick swipe over my face after cleansing leaves my skin looking much brighter and fresher. I have noticed what I think is a slight purging phase ( a similar thing happened last time) but that seems to be subsiding and hopefully it will calm down!. Overall another happy repurchase!
What do you find yourself repurhasing again and again?

DeleteI love this No 7 foundation too although it's been abandoned during the warmer months... I'm going to have to revisit it now the weather has taken a turn.

DeleteI have the glow tonic and I want to love it, but I'm not sure it really does anything for my skin. Maybe it's one of those I'll miss if I stop using it for a while? xx
ReplyDeleteOh that's such a shame! Yeah you never know! Have a break from it and see what happens!!xx
