Today we're talking Summer scents! My perfume collection is actually quite small and it's one of those beauty areas where I'm a little more fussy. I find certain fragrances really overpowering and after a while they give me headache, so my wussy self prefers a carefully curated set of favourites. I don't necessarily have a Summer or a Winter fragrance wardrobe, heck if I want to smell like coconut in December I shall but these are the ones I end up reaching for most in the warmer months.
Marc Jacobs Lola
This is my second bottle of this and I just love how floral and girly it is. Plus how cute is the bottle itself?! I'm not usually a massive floral fan but this stuff has me converted. I find it to smell mainly of rose with a pop of vanilla and it reminds me of parma violets when I was younger. I tend to keep this one more for evenings as I find it smells quite strong and can be a little overpowering for day time wear.
Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche
This is probably my most favourite perfume of all time. I've received a bottle every Christmas for as long as I can remember and it's one of those scents I never tire of. It smells so fresh, clean and citrusy without being over powering and I think it smells surprisingly unisex. Eventually the citrus gives way to a woodier spicier scent which makes it the perfect every day ' go to' perfume. It's definitely one of those can't stop sniffing your wrist fragrances.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
If you're after a perfume that screams holiday in a bottle then look no further. Every time I have a sniff it makes me think of Malibu and holiday cocktails with fancy little umbrellas and sparklers. It's coconuty and fruity and the scent lasts forever. I actually loved this so much that I got my mum a bottle too, and guess what? She loves it!
Bronze Goddess is just perfect for summer with its coconut scent - lovely picks :o) Xx

I love Chanel Chance but I've never tried the Eau Fraiche version, think I might need to go and give it a sniff! xx
ReplyDeleteI've heard so much about Bronze Goddess lately but I haven't had a chance to smell it yet! It sounds amazing, though.
