A few weeks back it finally felt summery enough to ditch my winter boots and as much as I love my sandals I like something a bit sturdier for those shopping trips and long walks. After a bit of debating and deciding I wasn't cool enough to pull off a pair of New Balance I opted for a pair of trusty converse.
Converse and I go way back. Fourteen year old me had every shade in the rainbow ( the pastel yellow were my favourite) and I was even known to occasionally wear two different colours at once. I wish that was a joke. Guy actually laughed when he saw I'd bought some but all these years later I still have a soft spot for my rubber toed friends. They're one of the few styles of shoes that have never made my feet ache and they're so easy to just throw on with a pair of skinny jeans when you just want to roll out of bed and go. I think teenage me would be proud.
Converse are literally my oldest and most worn shoes! I really need to get some more but I can't quite bring myself to do it knowing I already have some that I'm happy to keep re-using. Is that weird?!

Great choice :) I think it's great to have a pair of converse to wear on casual outfit days! They're pretty comfy and easy to pull off :) I've had a pair for years and years that somehow still fit!

you can never go wrong with a pair of Chuck Taylors! Although I'm a major pumps and sandals gal, I always turn to my converse on lazy/casual days when I just cba to be quite frank lol x
