Avene Cleannce Cleansing Water

If there's one thing that always features in my night time skin care routine it's a micellar water. I find them so quick and convenient and I struggle to think back to the days when I would use a cream cleanser to remove the bulk of my make up.

I spotted this on the clearance rack in Boots a few weeks back and being a big fan of Avene I couldn't resist it. Needless to say I'm glad I picked up a bottle and for the last couple of weeks it's been my go to first step in my cleansing routine.

I won't ramble on about micellar waters too much as we're all familiar with the concept by now but this stuff is another good 'un. A few squirts on a cotton pad is enough to really dissolve make up and it even manages a good go at removing my stubborn waterproof mascara too but I still need another product to properly remove it. Despite making short work of removing my make up it's actually incredibly gentle too. It doesn't sting and it hasn't caused any dryness or discomfort. I also feel like it's been doing wonders for my skin. It's targeted towards those of us with oily and spot prone skin and I think it's really helped clear up a recent break out I had. Whilst I still hold a soft spot for my Garnier water I actually think this one does more for my skin than just remove my make up.

If you're a micellar water fan and suffer from the odd break out this is definitely worth having a look at

  2. I've seen Avene and I've still yet to pick something up! My current love, Body Shop Camomile Make Up Remover is down to it's last dregs now so maybe it's a sign!

  4. This sounds like my perfect product, I am in need of cleansing water that doesn't break me out! The colour is a bit hideous though, nice and bright haha.

  5. Pretty please could you nominate me in Cosmopolitan's blog awards 2014? I would really appreciate the support and it only takes a second or two I promise!
