Spring make up

Considering the weather we're having at the minute I finally felt like it was acceptable to do a Spring Make up post. I always think spring make up should look fresh and glowy.

First up; the base. I mentioned in my Clarins exfoliating toner post that I had recently ditched my heavier foundations in favour of something much lighter and very Spring-esque. No 7's stay perfect super light foundation has been my go to base for a while now. It's amazingly light ( barely noticeable light) yet it doesn't skimp on coverage and it lasts all day, and I mean all day, even on my oily t-zone. I find this is one that's best applied with my fingers as it's so light that when applied with a brush it just disappears in to the bristles.

On my cheeks I've been using Hourglass' Ambient lighting blush in Radiant magenta and No7's Instant radiance highlighter and when paired together they give a really lovely fresh glowy look. I've also been using a little bit of Nars' Laguna bronzer. This is probably my all time favourite bronzer and I find a little swipe here and there really helps to warm up my post Winter complexion.

As for eyes I've been keeping that really simple. I've been using Revlon's Lash Potion mascara as it gives eyelashes quite a natural look and doesn't look too over done. To finish off I've been using Rimmel's nude eyeliner along my water line to help brighten up my eyes.

Ooh and let's not forget nails. My current favourite poloish is Barry M's huckleberry. Total nightmare to apply but I just love the colour.

    1. It does look pretty and I so wanted to love it but I found it doesn't last very long and it's quite difficult to blend. I still use it though! x
