Mascara is one of those products that I always manage to finish. I go through tubes and tubes of the stuff so I like to make sure I have a well stocked stash. After a brief shopping session last week ( someone hide my card!!) No7's Lovely Lashes became the newest addition to my collection.
So No7 isn't the coolest brand around but I actually really like their mascaras; they're fairly inexpensive, do the job, plus they don't irritate my sensitive eyes like some others and their newest release is another good 'un. It's no secret that I love a bristle brush and this is up there with my faves. It separates lashes like a dream, there's no clumping or gloop, just an incredibly even distribution of mascara. The formula is also pretty good. It certainly doens't give wow lashes but for an every day mascara it's great. It gives just the right amount of length and volume and still manages to leave eyelashes feeling soft. It's also enriched with Argan oil to give them a little bit of TLC, this isn't necessarily an essential but I'm not complaining. My only gripe is that I wish it were waterproof. I find waterproof formulas hold curls better and of course there's no chance of any panda eyes during the day.
Another thing I've been using lately is the Maylash eyelash serum*. As I mentioned, I have naturally quite poor eyelashes and this is supposed to help them grow longer and thicker as well as 'reactivating' eyelashes that have stopped growing. I've been applying it along the base of my lashes before bed as per the instructions and I'm eager to see the results. It can apparently take anywhere from 6 weeks to two months for there to be a noticeable difference so I'll keep you posted!

Really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the lash serum - it's not a type of product that I actually own but if it works then it's definitely something I'll be picking up. I go through phases with No7 but this mascara sounds lovely!
