New Hair care Heroes

About a month or so ago there was quite a buzz around the L'oreal  no sulphate shampoos amongst bloggers and of course I gave in to the hype and bought a bottle or two.My original purchase was from the ever riche section and I opted for the Nourishing and Flowing version for Dry and fine hair. Fast foward another month and my shampoos were starting to run low so on a quick trip to Boots I went to browse the hair care aisle.
This time however I came away with the coloured hair 'moisturising' version ( It also comes in a volumising formula too which sounds lovely but after I recently had balayage highlights I felt like my hair could do with a little TLC ). Because Boots had a very generous 3 for £12 promotion currently running ( and I'm never one to turn down a bargain) I also picked up the 'oil precieux' which was on sale for £11.99 itself.

My initial thought when I first tried the shampoo and conditioner was that they didn't smell half has nice as the ever riche version. However after a few uses their herbally, minty scent started to grow on me and I actually really like it now. For a sulphate free shampoo it has the loveliest lather and I only feel like I need to shampoo my hair once to get it feeling clean, so a little goes a long way. The conditioner feels pretty luxurious too and is nice and thick, almost mask like. I've already noticed the ends of my hair are starting to feel softer again and when I've blow dried my hair there seems to be significantly less frizz and instead my hair is shiny, smooth and manageable. I have noticed that lately my hair seems to be flatter and I'm not sure whether I can blame this on my current mousse or whether this shampoo/ conditioner combo is weighing my hair down but I'm in the process of getting to the root of the problem ( ba-dum-tsch).

The hair oil is my favourite purchase. It smells amazing when I spritz it through the lengths of my hair and it leaves it feeling like silk. I also really like that it can be used on wet hair as a prep product, or it is light enough to use on dry hair if you feel you need a bit of extra gloss without giving you telltale greasy ends like some oils can.

My only criticism of this range would probably be the packaging, I find it quite hard to distinguish between the different versions that are all the same colour, for example this and the volumising version. I know I should read the bottles but I still think they should differentiate between them better!

  6. I have to try these, my hair is terrible! Months of straightening it and curling it has really ruined it, looks slightly less vibrant now! I might have to buy this to -hopefully - revive my hair! Lovely review and great blog, love the name too! So clever how it's like a beauty newspaper - a dream come true haha.

  8. I need to get my hands on this range of products. I'm so obsessed with conditioners and anything that cane help maintain the health of my hair, and make it look lively is a necessary purchase.

I don't even know what half of the selling points of the Ever Riche range mean, but if they're producing great results for everyone, I'm sold.
