Nars Rikugien Satin lip pencil

If there's one brand that I can't help but love, it's Nars. Ever since I tried their sheer glow foundation I was hooked and I don't think I've ever tried a product that's disappointed me.

It's not often I'm so enamoured by a product that I end up wearing it to death but that is definitely what happened here. Just look at that swatch- Rikugien is the prettiest rose pink shade! It's the sort of shade you can wear to brunch, to work, when you're in your sweats and your hair is a mess. It just goes with everything and is so easy to wear. Now I'm not going to lie, pigmentation isn't all that with this one. There's a good amount of colour pay off with just one swipe, we're talking about a 'my lips but better' look but it's definitely a colour that you could build up.

The formula is delightful too. Being Satin there is some slip but you can totally get away with it with a colour like this. It's incredibly easy to apply and just glides on to your lips, no prepping required. It's also really comfortable to wear and is creamy and hydrating. I found wear time really good, lasting around 4 hours on me and eventually fading away to leave behind a light stain. T

My only gripe with lip pencils is that they have to be sharpened. I always feel a little bit like I'm wasting product but I knew this was the case when I bought it so rather than the products fault it's mine!
