A new favourite hair oil

Liz Earle hair oil review

If you suffer from hair that has dry ends like me, you'll know that a good hair oil is super important. After every wash I find myself slathering oil on in a bid to get the healthiest, shiniest locks possible. I've raved on here a few times about my love for the Macadamia oil, but after spotting this I couldn't help but take a closer look. I'm no stranger to Liz Earle hair care. Although the brand is know for their skin care and the likes of their cult favourite - Cleanse and Polish their hair care offerings are pretty good too.

Liz Earle hair oil review
As always is the case with Liz Earle products, this smells absolutely amazing. The Botanical Shine Nourishing hair oil has a subtle scent that's rather spa like and it's just so relaxing. This oil is also lovely to apply. It's not overly thick and isn't sticky or heavy which makes it perfect for those of us with hair that's on the finer side. I usually find about two pumps is enough to do the lengths of my hair and the best time to apply it is to wet hair before blow drying.

I've found that this really helps tame frizz, especially now it's starting to get a little colder out and makes my blow dry feel so much more sleek and smooth. It also adds a lovely touch of shine thanks to the melon and coconut oils it contains. I'm about half way through the bottle so far, so I'm not sure how much difference this will make to my hair long term but I'll keep you posted!

I'd love to know what your favourite hair oils are

  1. I have never found the perfect hair oil, so I can't recommend any, but I would love to try this! x
