Manicure with No7

If there's one thing I love it's having lovely glossy nails.So much so that  I have a whole drawer by my bed dedicated to housing nail polish. Some might say that that is a bit excessive,unnecessary even and you'd be forgiven for thinking that surely a drawer full is enough? But no, there's just something so appealing about these little bottles of colour that I can't stop buying more!

On one of my recent weekly trawls of Boots, the No7 counter caught my eye and never being one to say no to a 3 for 2 offer I picked up a few bits.

Base Coat. Any girl will know that when it comes to painting your nails a good base coat is a must. This one does exactly that it says on the tin and keeps nails in good condition and stain free.

The real star of this manicure however is the gorgeous Gel-Look Shine polish. Terrible name but an amazing product. One coat and it is completely opaque and really, really shiny. I used to think I would be more likely to pull a Hemsworth brother than find a one coat red but No7 have pulled it out of the bag. It's also a little bit thicker than your average polish so it applies really smooth and evens out  the look of your nails and masks any ridges. Colourwise I also love it, it's a perfect festive red and goes so well with my current winter favourites.

 For a polish that's on the thicker side it also dries really quickly too, which if you're as much of a fidget as I am you'll understand how important this is.

Lasting power is also commendable. My nails remained chip free for a whole 3 days ( some of those were work days too so extra testing) but it does last better if you use the top coat.

All in all a really great fuss free  polish that's perfect for any upcoming Christmas parties you might be attending. I can't wait to purchase more colours!
