A quick look at seventeen

In the past I've been one to walk straight past the Seventeen counter without even passing it a second glance. However I recently decided to try a few of their new bits and pieces and it's safe to say I've been really impressed.

Flawless Poreless Primer
I won't go in to huge detail because I've talked about all of these seperately at one point or another but this is definitely one of my favourites. Having used Porefessional and Clarins Instant Smoothing primer before I didnt expect much from this but it's quickly earnt it's way out of the make up drawer and in to the everyday make up bag ( that's no mean feat might I add). A quick swipe across of this and my pores become near invisible. It makes a great base for makeup too and keeps skin looking super smooth until it's time for bed.

On the Spot Concealer
Again, not a product I was expecting much from considering I only ever seem to be able to find it in one shade ( that goes for online too). It is slightly too dark for my super pale face but once my make up is done it's completely unnotiecable. Shade issues aside this is an amazing little concealer. It gives brilliant coverage and does an amazing job of hiding blemishes without clinging to any dry bits. It also contains salyic acid to help clear up the skin. Definitely one for the repurchase list

Skin wow Highlighter
Another cheap and cheerful product. This is a gorgeous pearlescent highlighter and it gives the most subtle highlight. It can be used as a primer, mixed in with foundation or simply by itself on the high points of your face. I personally prefer to use it on my brown bone, cheek bones and the centre of my nose etc to help give a healthy glow.

Phwoarr Paint
I've always been a fan of Benefit's erase paste so I was over the moon when I found this product does a similar job but only sets me back £5.49. Phwoarr Paint is a fairly heavy duty concealer and the orange tones do a great job of covering any dark circles you might have and masking blue tones. If you have more mature skin then I would stay away from this as the thick texture is likely to settle in to fine lines and accentuate any dry bits.
