Una Brennan Superfacialist Cleansing oil

Until recently Una Brennan wasn't really a brand I had paid much attention to, however during a recent browse of Boots this lovely little oil caught my eye.
Initially I had to double take, the packaging is remarkably similar to the Origins version but this one comes in at half the price and is also mineral oil free!

After a couple of weeks of using this my first impressions are really positive. Designed as a pre cleanse you gently massage it in to your face and rinse to remove all traces of make up. I have personally been using this on evenings when I feel like my face needs a little bit of luxury or TLC, and packed with skin benefitting ingredients such as  Vitamin C ,nourishing Olive, Grapeseed and Rosehip oils, as well as soothing cucumber I really feel like it gives my skin a bit of loving.
It does a brilliant job of gently removing my make up without irritating my eyes or leaving any residue.I was actually really surprised how clean this left my skin feeling, having combination skin I was worried it would make me a grease ball, or break me out but it's actually done the opposite. My face feels a lot more balanced and soft after a few weeks use of this but I haven't noticed any changes with regard to brightness.

One thing I would note, is that it can be quite difficult to pour and on my first use I excitedly poured enough for about 10 people by accident. It's also worth mentioning that it has a slight orangey, citrusy scent which I personally love, but I know isn't to everyone's tastes

Have you tried anything from the Una Brennan range? What should I try next?

This can be purchased from Boots and is currently on promotion at £7.33

  1. I saw this brand the other day and thought about buying something, but in the end forced myself to walk on by! Really good review, it's made me want to head back there though - ooops! xoxo
