I can count on one hand the times I've been genuinely gutted to find out a product has been discontinued, and the body shop's banana shampoo was one of them.
Fast forward a few years, and on a recent trip to Leeds I stopped by the body shop to check out their new cleansing butter. Intent on purchasing some skincare I somehow managed to spy my old favourite across the store and of course I had to purchase a bottle to see if it was as good as I remembered...
This is hands down the best smelling shampoo/ conditioner I have ever used. It has a gorgeous good enough to eat , uplifting banana scent ( thanks to the real banana puree) but doesn't smell artificial and I literally can't stop smelling my hair when it's freshly washed. I also find that it lathers really well and a little goes a long way. After using these products not only does my dry hair smell great but it feels great too. Unlike so many other shampoos this one doesn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or over cleansed at all but it is still soft ,manageable and easy to brush. The conditioner also does a great job of moisturising my dry, curly hair in record quick time.
I'm so glad Body Shop have reintroduced their banana shampoo again! If you're after soft, shiny hair then this is the shampoo for you.Have you tried any of the body shop's hair care range?

I remember using this shampoo & conditioner as a small child Aww I'm going to have to go into the body shop to have a snif & reminisce haha.

I've tried the conditioner but not the shampoo, might go try them again as I just thought the conditioner was alright :)
