Weleda Skin food

Available from Boots for £8.50

Hi everyone! Happy Friday :)! Hope you're all looking forward to the weekend and have lots of lovely things planned. Sorry my posts have been a little sparse lately, I've had so many exams and things to do lately that blogging has had to take a bit of a back seat!

Today, however, I thought I'd have another little rave about one of my new favourite skin care products - the lovely weleda skin food!
During winter months my poor skin had taken a battering from central heating, harsh winds and cold temperatures etc and it had really dried out especially on my forehead. None of my usual go to moistursiers were fixing it and so when I was on the lookout for something to do the trick I read this was a favourite of Victoria Beckham and Adele and I thought why not?!
Skin food is made with all natural ingredients including; organic sunflower seed oil, and extracts of wild pansy, chamomile, calendula and revitalising rosemary extract to  help perk up tired skin and so far it has been an amazing saviour for my dry skin!

It has quite a subtle fragrance which is, I think, some kind of citrus mixed with lavender and it smells just lovely. The Cream itself is actually quite thick and heavy and I was worried about putting this on my forehead as when I was rubbing it in it didn't feel like it was going to absorb. However I was pleasantly surprised as it sunk in reasonably fast and didn't leave any greasy residue like some thicker moisturisers but I would still only use it as a night cream due to its thickness.
I have also been using this on my elbows ( they're forever dry!) and on my heels to get summer ready feet and they've also been loving it as much as my face. Both areas are noticeably less dry and feel much softer.
My only criticism of this product would be the tubing. It's metal and because I travel a lot and chuck it in my bag it's become quite dinted and doesn't look as nice but if that's the worst you've got to say about a product you know it must be pretty good! Overall I love this little multi tasking beauty and I can't wait to try more Weleda products
Have you tried any Weleda products? Which should I try next?
