Those of you out there with fine hair will no doubt share my appreciation for a good volumising spray. When left to it's own devices my hair is flat, lank, baby soft and practically crying out for bit of oomph injecting.
On the days when my hair isn't just scraped up in to a bun I like to reach for a squirt of Charles Worthington's Dry Texturising spray. Hailed as a dupe for Oribe's famous texturising spray, a quick spritz here and there leaves my hair with some much needed volume that lasts all day. I've had some long layers cut in to my hair recently and this helps give them that nice piecey I haven't tried too hard look. Plus it smells seriously good too.
If you're off somewhere nice however, it might be worth having a little practise with this beforehand, as on my first few attempts I went a little overboard and with this less is definitely more if you want to avoid crispy hair!
I'm also quite a fan of the Back comb Powder from the same range. This isn't a product I would use on a daily basis but for some extra volume at the roots for a night out it definitely does the trick. It's probably best to build this up gradually to get the desired effect as it's possible to go OTT and make your hair feel a little powdery which I don't like. It does blend in seamlessly though, even on my dark hair.
If you're after a little bit of volume at a bargain price then look no further!
I feel your pain, I've got really fine hair too! I've used the CW texturising spray in the past, and although it worked really well, I didn't like the way it left my hair feeling. I recently discovered the Toni & Guy Texturiser. It does pretty much the same thing without the gritty feeling and smells AMAZING!
