Protecting the locks

I'm on a bit of a hair growing mission at the moment (when am I not?) and I've been giving my hair some serious TLC in the hope that I can get a few more inches out of it by Christmas. Having naturally curly and unruly hair means that I regularly subject my hair to a blow dry or ten and I'm some times guilty of skipping the heat protect.

After having a good old trim at the end of August I decided I wasn't going to forgo the heat defence any more and I picked up a bottle of L'oreal's  Ever Sleek Heat Protection. I've used some of the shampoos from their ever sleek range before and really liked them and this was no exception.

From the first use my hair has felt softer and shinier and the spray is so light  I can't tell I've used any product at all which is always as a bonus when your hair is as fine as mine. I also feel like my hair is less dry than usual. It's been a while since I had it trimmed now and the ends don't feel as parched as they usually might.

What are your favourite heat protect methods?

  1. I'm currently using a Frizz Ease heat protecting spray but I do love the Ever Sleek range so I think I'll have to buy this next!

    1. I keep meaning to try the Frizz Ease one! My hair is naturally frizzy and I'm definitely starting to notice it more now the weather is getting more damp!xx
